Ranveer Singh To Be Part Of Arjun Reddy Actress Shalini Pandey's Bollywood Debut Film?
Shalini Pandey, who made her Tollywood debut with the blockbuster hit Arjun Reddy, will soon make her Bollywood debut too! If reports are to be believed, her Bollywood debut will be alongside superstar Ranveer Singh in the forthcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar
Tollywood actress Shalini Pandey shot to fame and gained much popularity with her debut in the Telugu blockbuster hit Arjun Reddy and played the role opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The film did exceedingly well and along with the other cast members, Shalini’s performance in the film was lauded as well. The actress made a name for herself with her Tollywood debut and if reports are to be believed, she will soon make her Bollywood debut too! As if that wasn’t exciting enough, her Bollywood debut will be alongside superstar Ranveer Singh in the forthcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey will be seen making her Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh in writer-director Duvyang Thakkar’s film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. This forthcoming film will be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). As per the report, makers of Jayeshbhai Jordaar were impressed with Shalini’s performances in her earlier films and also with her theatre background. A source close to the development told Deccan Chronicle, “As Shalini started her career as a theatre artiste, she’s been a part of several plays and drama. Hence, the filmmakers felt that the actress had the required imagination for the part.”
According to the same report in Deccan Chronicle, Jayeshbhai Jordaar happens to be one of the three films that Shalini Pandey has signed with YRF. Jayeshbhai Jordaar is set to go on floors next month and Ranveer Singh will be seen portraying the role of a Gujarati businessman.
In other news, Ranveer Singh recently wrapped up the London shoot of his upcoming film ’83, in which he will portray the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone will play the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi in the film which is based on India’s historic win at the 1983 cricket World Cup.
